i have no respect for anyone in this business just out to make money. i've only asked one thing of my clients and that is commitment. don't waste my time and i won't waste yours.

my name is John Rousseau, I am an artist specializing in tattoos, paintings, and website development. I am a+, n+, mcse (microsoft), and ccna (cisco) certified. I also have an Associate's degree in computer science. Photoshop is my girlfriend, but sometimes I cheat on her with Flash and Notepad.

I consider peace and contentment counterproductive. Just because you've figured out your own life, don't presume to know a damn thing about mine.

Have we had our day? Are we just carrying on after the manner of the aged, quiescent, devitalized, uncreative, desiring peace and sleep above all else? For most, yes.

My Interests

pencils, chainsaws, pastels, tae bo, ramen noodles, acrylics, collaborative art projects,cleaning house, ironing, making my own clothing out of rags from Goodwill, brainwashing children, and tattooing. ..

I'd like to meet:

artists and people successfully pretending to be artists.

I love trading techniques with fellow artists, and I am always up for a collaborative project... whether it be a painting, tattoo design, or actual tattoo project.

old samurai movies, new samurai movies. zhang yimou (curse of the golden flower, house of flying daggers, hero). fearless may be the best movie ever, or hero. transformers G1. anime that isn't dragonball z: gundam wing, bastard, fist of the north star, vampire hunter d, naruto, and berzerk.

Television:

destroy it. your life will only be defined by that which you create and leave behind.

Books:

i never learned how to read. but if i could read, i'd read these guys:
baudelaire, vonnegut jr, palahniuk, george r.r. martin, kafka, some of them there beatniks, voltaire, lovecraft, donald e. westlake, brett easton ellis; anything of a darker satirical vein.

Heroes:

my heroes have all died for their beliefs. i will join them eventually.
