my movie foundation is really based on what kind of free crap people donated to the public library. i looove oldies, indie's, and the classics. i like to imagine a world as pretty and perfect, simple really, as black/white/technicolor like some like it hot, cat on a hot tin roof, breakfast at tiffany's, and doctor zhivago. but i love films in general (anything that stimulates my imagination/inspires daydreaming); ones that kick you in the butt like requiem for a dream, adaptation, ran, one flew over the cuckoo's nest, cidade de deus, se7en, brokeback, lola rennt, ran ...etc; ones that go boom boom like lord of the rings trilogy, the godfather, LA Confidential, Sin City, Apocalypse Now, Oldboy, Lord of War...etc; ones that make you go awww like the christmas story, forest gump, garden state, it's a wonderful life, princess bride, eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, amelie, my sassy girl ...etc, the list just goes on! oh, and i like anything with Johnny Depp. Savvy?
boooo on tv. its the reason my vision is blurry at times, though not bad enough for me to get cool looking everyday eyewear. i grew up with i love lucy and all those corny shows from the 80/90s. i don't really watch 'shows', its more like 'stations' ...such as: MTV, VH1, Bravo, AMC, FoodNetwork, TBS, and HBO.
