Born in Fort Hood Texas Sept 7th, raised in Compton/Lynwood Ca. Len picked up his 1st camera(a gift from his mom) at age 14. his loving mother (paula) told him to find something creative to do with his time. with this in mind the 1st subject he choose to photograph was his brother, and best friend (lucky)...Lucky was the perfect subject. he allowed len to be as creative as he wanted to be. from there len decided to take his 1st photo class in high school, which lead him to become one of the schools newspaper photographers for two years. He was then awarded 1st place in a national photographer's competition through the NAACP act-so foundation in Washington D.C...After high school he attended various local community college photography classes, and was later awarded honorable mention in Photographer's Form magazine photo contest (spring 1999)" People have told me that im before my time. that my vision for art conveys my struggles through the lens. i want to see what others dont see at 1st glance. then completely expose them to it, and take them by suprise!".
