New England Drive will soon be selling their self titled demo.
"New England Drive" began in the summer of 2006 as a two man jam band without a name. Sean and Jake performed at the local "Bozfest" in support of and hosted by "The Darkside of Ambition". The two took the band further with the addition of Guitarist Robert Orthwein. On September 30th, the band performed with "Taken by Twelve" and "Accepting Reality" The new addition of Matt Csikos on bass guitar had turned New England Drive into a full group. Unfortunately, after the Parsippany High School Battle of the Bands, Matt decided that New England Drive was not the fit for him. After a short search for a new bassist, Kevin Ford came along. From the first practice Kevin showed the dedication and desire that New England Drive was looking for. The band has a variety of accoustic and non-accoustic music made from the talents of each member. The style of music is an indie/pop/rock feel while the lyrics are emotional and brought from the feelings of each member. New England Drive hopes to become recognized in the near future both inside and outside their home town.
