Habitforming WANTS YOU!

About Me

Emerging from the nucleus of San Francisco in late 2002. Habitforming has steadily been amassing fans along the way due to its extremely dynamic set and highly volatile live show. They have been moving up to larger and larger shows, drawing more and more people out to see them. The articulately crafted song writing and production speak for it self.Habitforming's genetic makeup consists of the following members: Ryan Blair on the trap kit, weighing in at 178 lbs. Brian Spector on guitar, keys and backing vocals, weighing in at 187 lbs. Matt Lucas on bass and backing vocals, weighing in at 176 lbs. Jethro DeHart on lead vocals/guitar/harmonica, weighing in at a mere 184 lbs.Total band weight = 725 lbs.Habitforming's sound varies from slow, crawling, melodic overtones to high tension walls of elaborately layered sound. This band uses a melting pot of different textures, time signatures, silky grooves, loving dreamscapes, 3 part harmonies, bombing guitar riffs, and a wide array of household chemicals to craft their sonic foundations. Dynamics are key to Habitforming's live show and sound. The foursome are revving up for a new wave of future shows in promotion of their soon to be released new album, "Involved", due out later this year.Since Habitforming's inception, the band has been involved in numerous arguments, disagreements, extended recording sessions, silent retreats, rigorous rehearsals, club tours via smelly passenger vans, and a multitude of out of body clinical treatments. All members have been quarantined and completely rehabilitated using the patented Habitforming technique. We look forward to meeting you, if we have not already.
