The 1 A.M.P. was Born in Houston Texas in 1981 and his family moved to Palm Beach County 1985.
Grew up amongst the rough and in 1996 was charged and in 1999 incarcerated. He served four and a half years in prison. During this time, he couldn't listen to the majors artist who told the stories he's seen and know. Instead Young AMP honed is delivered and sharpened the vocabulary. Along with Cell Mates: Jack Boy and Ice then also incarcerated from Miami-Dade County A.M.P. became "One Ambitiuos MuthaFukkin Playa". Often challenged to do better and honing the ability to freestlye for hours.
Once released April 1st 2003, 1-A.M.P. started seeking the route of putting them emotions and issues in life on wax. That day would prove no joke, he met up with Dirt Road producer Bott whom introduced and ushered in the first sounds of the newly released 1-A.M.P. Bott also introduced label mate C1 who also appears on Heavy Bass Smashes out the "RAW" with 1-A.M.P.
1-AMP is currently working on new LP Released on his own Label Small City Records and Anticipating the release of Small City Big Gunz Mixtape Vol II. Artist already slated for the release include Rawvera mixtape alumni C1, D Low B, 1TEF and newcomer to the Raw Decibel Jones and more... Album will be available on Small City Records - Lord Willin Productions this Winter. ~
