“Eyes filled with rock’n rollâ€
Do you wanna see a rock’n roll band? Enough already with this mainstream music! Here is a band, which uses endless amounts of hairspray and eyeliner. Lovex is a incredible totality, which takes over ones ears and eyes. Playing rock’n roll riffs, metal full of feeling, love bubbling lyrics and symphony sounds one can experience phenomenon called Lovex.
The band was born at fall 2001. The journey of a newborn however was difficult and anguished. After fortuitous gigs and several band member changes they finally found their sixth element- Juke. It was spring 2004 when baby Lovex grew into adult. It was obvious already from the beginning that Lovex should sound like Lovex. Best way to accomplish this was to make their own songs. This really didn’t cause a headache, because by now all of the members had a history with different bands.
When the first song –Love and Tears- came about, covers didn’t get place anymore in their gig song-list. “We play what pleases us. The most important is good mood, right attitude and rocking sound.†It was self-evident to sing in English, we can’t take over the worlds stages singing in Finnish.
Rock’n roll is the drug... and we are the dealers!
