Raised in the rural suburbs of Cali, Colombia, Sanchez enjoyed the fruits of a large family. Paulis Sanchez relocated to Toronto, Canada and was heavily influenced by the rhythmic sounds of black gospel music in her new church home. ..The music fusion of both gospel & Latin music is what truly influenced my singing & songwriting style.., reflects Sanchez. ..I admired artists like Fred Hammond, Israel Houghton, Kirk Franklin and Yolanda Adams and always embraced their ministry in every way... Within the Latin Christian scene artists like Danilo Montero, Marcos Witt, Ingrid Rosario, Jesus Adrian Romero & Doris Machin always provided a foundation for her Hispanic worship roots and culture.
Ms. Sanchez has connected spiritually with audiences throughout North and South America in countries such as Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala, Dominican Republic, Venezuela and the U.S. She has graced the stage with artists such as Danilo Montero, Ricardo Rodriguez, Pastor Cash Luna, Carlos Ortiz, Bani Muñoz and Grupo Libertad.
