About Me

Hey, so I live in Tampa FL & despite the bad rep my state has gotten the last couple of years or so (who am I kidding, we've had a bad rep for longer than that), I couldnt imagine anyplace else I'd like to live. I love movies (I'm not going to be pretentious & say films) and just hanging out with my friends. I have 5 demon spawn kitty cats (R.I.P - Biggie), 1 sister, & a goofball fiancee. You wanna know more, you gotta ask!

My Interests

Oddly enough Howl at the moon piano bar, and hanging out with coworkers- I finally found a group I like.

I'd like to meet:

Zombie and horror fanatics, old wave purists, and anyone who feels gossip girl is the second coming of the OC (NY style). I promise not to hit (hard anyway). Biting, on the other hand, is another story completely. Just ask my guy.

I'll take a Joy Divison/New Order song anyday over anything out there.

I love the 80's retrowave: the Killers, Interpol, Muse.

Band that knocked me off my feet at a concert: the Zutons, VNV Nation.

Timeless: Iggy Pop, Lou Reed, T-Rex, the Cure, the Pixies, Depeche Mode, Wolfsheim, David Bowie, Nine Inch Nails, Alice Cooper.
I cant wait to see Birthday Massacre for the third time in May!

Movies:

Suspiria (Italian Horror Rules), Velvet Goldmine (glam rock rules!), Original Dawn of the Dead, the Blind Dead movies, Toxic Avenger, Tromeo & Juliet, the Sweet Hereafter, Go (I am totally obsessed with Sarah Polley), But I'm a Cheerleader, Road House (its a guilty pleasure, but what am I gonna do- its hypnotizing), Rocky Horror, Phantom of the Paradise, Halloween, Trainspotting, Princess Diaries (yes, I admit I like this movie- best yet, I own all the books), the Doom Generation, Hackers, Strange Days, Say Anything, High Fidelity (see a John Cusack trend), Bruce Campbell is my soulmate (despite this comment, I am not a psychotic stalker, just overly enthusiastic)!

Television:

Best cool shows: Gossip Girl, Terminator - Sarah Connor Chronicles
Anytime, any channel has a retrospective of sometype (i love the 80's, behind the scenes: the omen, music in movies:the 70's) I'm hooked- no matter how useless.
The best Movie/Celebrity discussion show: Sunday Morning Shootout.

Currently Addicted to Torchwood and America's Next Top Model (I know I'm pathetic).

Guilty Pleasure to the Extreme: Degrassi:the Next Generation (I live & breathe for new episodes).

Foamy tells it like it is!

Books:

Princess Diaries, Gossip Girl, the IT Girl, & Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (yes, I'm a 12 year old stuck in a 29 year old's body)

Heroes:

My sister- at 5'2" she instills fear to all (no matter what age)
