As I get older, I find myself more ecelectic in my tastes. For instance, on my iPod, I have everything from Christian to big band to classical to movie themes to heavy metal. One of my favorite artists was one of the most prolific Christian song writers to come along, Rich Mullins. Probably my favorite genre is 1980's "Big Hair Heavy Metal".
"The Godfather", "Patton", "Star Wars", "The Wizard of Oz" and "The Matrix" are a few of my favorites of all time. I enjoy the sort of movie that one can put on the tube whenever there is nothing else worth watching and you don't mind seeing the same movie over and over. That pretty much includes most Sandra Bullock, Reese Witherspoon, and Drew Barrymore movies. No, I don't mind watching chick flicks with the wife, obviously. For some reason, I also watch movies about Wyatt Earp and enjoy them, even if some of them are factually challenged. I guess I also really like the great epics of modern day such as "Gladiator" and "Braveheart". I enjoy a good sci-fi once in a while. Notice I used the word "good".
I don't watch a lot of TV, especially network television. Since I work for the cable company, I have a few hundred channels of garbage to choose from. If I can find a good documentary, I put it on. I find myself watching Biography International, History Channel, and History International a lot if I do sit and watch TV.

Rush Limbaugh (for his accomplishments in broadcasting); Ronald Reagan (for his strength in leadership, not necessarily that I agreed with him 100%); the Apostle Paul (for his unwavering conviction and concise documentation of the faith); and the men and women who put their lives on the line for the sake of others', whether as soldiers, police, or firefighters.
