Every once in a while you just have to go for it!

About Me

From England originally, I'm a motorsports photographer/writer with an Engineering degree. The best thing about the races isn't the cars but seeing old friends and making new ones. I'm a bit shy, but open up with friends (a friend suggesting joining myspace). I like real seasons, not the wet/cold, dry/hot things we have here in California - also missing from this part of CA are thunderstorms, which I enjoy quite a bit. Definitely a cat person, but am ok with dogs as well. I have an old Truimph TR6 which I'm hoping to restore soon, but in the meantime I'm having a lot of fun in my Miata. Update (July 2006) I now have an E-type Jaguar roadster which I got it in March - gorgeous, fast, but a little tempermental. Still I'm learning a lot (like how to balance triple SU caburettors) and having fun.

My Interests

Photography, Hanging out at the track with friends, Museums (especially The British Museum, V&A, Natural History Museum, Tate Modern & Smithsonian) old European sports and racing cars, Ancient Greece, Travel, snokeling, the outdoors (I'm thinking about getting a kayak, but not sure where to go around here), driving fast, sailing and skiing, reading (mostly newspapers and magazines - I get way too many), open wheel and Eupoean tin-top racing, Astronmony (but viewing conditions are impossible here), Games (board or computer), Learning new computer apps.
