Happy days, I like comfort and need it too. When there's sleep, food and mates to go out with, I'm happy. I like walks to random places, T- shirts that make fun of something I dislike or even despise, rude jokes, long proper breakfasts, almost empty cinemas, Sundays and long meals with my mates.

Kiss. Michael Knight AND The Hoff. JR and Sue Ellen Ewing, together, drunk. Piipu. Al Pacino. Jennifer Beals and her legwarmers. Duran Duran in the 80's. Iggy Pop, David Bowie and Debbie Harry. JACK BAUER. Kaisa, Fran, Ant, Hat, Frank and the Manc mafia. The sooner the better.
Music:
Just could not be without. Silence might be golden but still not better than that. It's Blondie, Maximo Park, The Rapture and Kiss. The Fratellis, black Michael Jackson, 80's Madonna and Kasabian. Guns N'Roses, Aretha Franklin, Duran Duran, Kaiser Chiefs and The Strokes. And being an adopted Mancunian, New Order, Oasis, The Smiths, Happy Mondays and Joy Division. And Take That of course.
Movies:
Too many good ones. Although American Beauty makes me weep every time, as does Magnolia. Then there are good golden 80's flicks like Ferris Bueller's Day Off and Breakfast Club. Amelie just for realising world is actually kinda ok, sometimes at least. Monty Pythons are geniuses and I love their films too, like can any film beat The Life of Brian? Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs are masterpieces as is It's A Wonderful Life (never thought I'd talk about them in the same sentence). The melancholic Finnish ones you cannot but love. Mies vailla menneisyyttä, Kauas pilvet karkaavat, Komisario Palmut, Pojat. Pekka ja Pätkä ihan missä vaan. In general, long, short (I do have a special place for these in my heart, might be related to the fact that Tampere Film Festival tends to be good for "networking"), factual, fiction. Black and white. Technicolour. Silent. In original language, I'm not having any of that dubbing crap.
Television:
Watch too much. Trying to catch "the musts" but there is a demand for more and more NYPD Blue at 1am. I love Friday Night Project and Jonathan Ross. I hate anything with Russell Brand. I'm a sucker for crap reality TV but I'm pretending to hate it. Must see Studio Julmahuvi and Velipuolikuu every now and then. Watch too few documentaries and should really cut down on Friends repeats.
Books:
I do read. Should read more.
Heroes:
Jack Bauer. I know it's somewhat a cliche but my Mum kicks ass.
