Wicked Aura Batucada fuses the percussive sounds of Brazil with flavours drawn from our own inspiration. This band of brothers has 13 members from mashed up backgrounds, who bring their individual recipes and talent, resulting in one of the macdoobifunkiest of Batucada sounds out there. Singapore is our home, the world is our oyster, let's go!

Our musicians (in alphabetical order) are Aidan, Budi, Eddy, Hanafi, Hardy, Rizal, Salle, Sarong, Sham, Sharan, Syed Ahmad, Wan Abang and Wan Afro. Let's not forget the man with the camera Izar and our manager Licia!
Influences: Bad Boys Batucada (Melbourne, Australia), Inner Sense (Manchester, UK), Sergio Mendes are amongst the batucada influences, let it cook for 1/2 hour, then add some funk, drum&bass and rock. If too hot, drop in a little reggae. Add in some Asian flavour to taste. Best served fresh with an attitude.
Sounds Like: It's a different brand of batucada.
