The punks and hiphop heads in the eastern Finnish factory town of Lappeenranta joined their forces against The Oppressor in the early nineties. This led to shared music taste and recreational habits and formed the musical and spiritual background for The Jinks.The Jinks is also vocalist in skatepunk combo Rad Natas and touring with his compadre Paleface."Busy schedule and general inertia are the reasons why the songs on the page are so old. Plan now is to find the time and right mindset to get some new stuff done", says The Jinks.Thanks to Daddy Pales for vocals on Get Up and Dj Mobster on scratches on all the tracks.
