About Me

I'm British born and bred and have lived in America for 9 years - I miss England but changes are afoot. I'm married to a very patient man and have 3 young boys who keep me busy. I am the youngest of 3 sisters and always got the hand-me-downs (I'm sure there's lots of you that can relate). When I left school at age 16 (which is normal in England) I went into Hairdressing and qualified with good grace. I worked at the same salon for 5 years and loved it. I went into office work for a little while before coming over here.I am now a Stay-at-home mom to my 3 boys and now crave some 'me' time - which doesn't come up very often.Decided to try drawing from photo's in the early summer and found I have another talent. Considering my art teacher at school never gave me any credit - I don't think I do too bad.

Any fellow Brits over in the USA and anybody who is inspiring and fun. Benji Schwimmer - would love a personal dance lesson! Johnny Depp - fantastic and inspirational actor with so many depths to his perfomances. AND, of course, the highly 'Sophisticated' Hugh Laurie :) Wow, such talent: Writer, Director, Musician, Comedian, Actor - Hugh can come around for a cuppa tea anytime :D

Music:

Most music interests me in some form or other. Anything to make my toes tap, relax or just mellow out. Hey I'll sing or hum to anything, usually not very well in tune but I'm no singer. Was learning to play the saxophone and clarinet before having my kids - haven't found much time since then though. Would love to learn to play the piano.
