I love creative types, people who fancy themselves witty and anyone who's a dreamer. Reality is so boring. Dorks, I like dorks - not fake dorks, but people who have been told they're weird a lot. I get it all the time. We know our own. People who love to laugh. I'm not trying to have 3,000 myspace friends, so please add me if you want me as a friend not a fan. To clarify, you communicate with friends. You sign autographs for fans. I don't collect autographs. People with a passion for film, music and/or sour candy. I love sour candy.View Blog | Add Comment
Where to begin? Sublime, Alkaline Trio, Eric B & Rakim, Blink 182, 311, Rage Against the Machine, Wu Tang Clan, System of a Down, Slipknot, H2O, Sum 41, Face to Face, Smashing Pumpkins, The Killers, The Transplants, pretty much all Punk Rock, Emo and Indie. I'll listen to anything that makes my white ass shake.
Superbad, Knocked Up, 40 Year Old Virgin, Dazed and Confused, Animal House, all of the Vacations, American Beauty, Mall Rats, Clerks, Wedding Crashers, Old School, Shaun of the Dead, Scream, Sixteen Candles, The Breakfast Club, I Heart Huckabees, Napolean Dynamite, Garden State, Lost in Translation, Swingers, Fight Club, Trainspotting, Snatch, Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels, Bottle Rocket, Rushmore, Royal Tenenbaums and any John Hughes, Kevin Smith, or Wes Anderson flick (with the exception of "The Life Aquatic" - I'm not too keen on that one) is golden. Side note: I like to eat lots of sour candy while watching these movies
Lost, The Office, Entourage, My Name is Earl, Scrubs, MTV, VHI, E!, HBO, blah, blah, blah
"I think we burn these at our church".
Ferris Bueller, Kid Rock (this status was solidified after he slugged Tommy Lee @ the VMA's), Chevy Chase, Bill Murry, Rodney Dangerfield, Steve Martin. Bruce Campbell, Vince Vaughn, Ryan Reynolds, Simon Pegg, Jason Lee and Spike Jonze. Dave Grohl is the fucking man!! And I can't stress that enough. I also look up to writer/directors like Kevin Smith, Wes Anderson & Guy Ritchie (pre "Swept Away"). Other than that... John McEnroe made being a tennis player Punk Rock (how cool is that).
