You are Gloria Steinem. You are the McDonalds(tm) of liberal feminism, though you used to expouse some pretty radical ideas, you ended up working the system. Because it's easier? Maybe. But thanks for the only mainstream feminist magazine and for heading one of the most significant feminist lobbys in the history of the US. We wouldn't be where we are without NOW and Ms., as much as some of us are loathe to admit it.

Mostly listen to NPR so I get alot of indy-rock...but the following can be found in my repitioire: everything from early 80's cock-rock and glam-rock, to the 90's grunge rock bands and for the college years....I am a head...dead head that is...with a large amount of studio recordings and bootlegs...not so much a dead head as I am a wharf rat...these days. And for just chillin' I love to listen to Ella Fitzgerald Billy Holiday, various jazz artists...and shamanic drums.
New fav is the pirates of the carribean...I just love that pirate! But among the others....American History X, Red Dawn, Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, Better Off Dead, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Dead Again, Amelia, Moll Flanders, Superman all of them! Star Trek, Star Wars all of them! ET...I watched it 6.5 times when I was a kid in the theater! Tarzan Lord of the Apes! Edward Scissor Hands, James Bond Movies, Rocky...have you ever ran up the rocky steps in Philidelphia?
I own a TV, but don't watch network or cable....but I love a good drama!
I am a historical fiction kinda gal....right now I am reading the memoires of cleopatra...it is more interesting than it sounds....other than that i read biographies usually, But on my list this year was A million little Pieces, Darhma Girl, Drinking A Love Story, Night (AGAIN...I read that like once a year)..... On my list of books to read Watership Down...I hear it is fun...I'll need it after this mammonth monster I am reading. Mary Queen of Scotts and Henry VIIII am always looking for suggestions....
