About Me

Hey there! My name is Dori. I've owned Loard's Ice Cream in Alameda, my hometown, since October 2005, a place I've been going to since I was a little kid. It's a dream job for me. I absolutely LOVE making sundaes and putting a smile on your face when I hand you an ice cream cone. I have an awesome staff of part-time employees, my husband helps me out quite a bit, my parents are into it too, and our girls absolutely love it.

Loard's premium ice cream is produced in the San Leandro factory. True to its heritage, Loard's uses only the freshest and highest quality ingredients. Rich dairy creams, with high solids and minimal whipped air, create a denser and creamier ice cream than its competitors. In addition, fresh ingredients -- such as real mangos, strawberries and bananas - ensure Loard's customers get the rich, full flavor of the fruit in its popular fruit ice creams and sherbets. Among the 54 premium ice cream, sherbet and low fat ice cream flavors offered, the most unique and popular include Fresh Mango, Chocolate Showers, Cookies N Cream, Chocolate Mint, Coconut Pineapple, Ube-Macapuno, and Fresh Strawberry.
