About Me

Recovered from knee reconstruction surgery in 2004 to play five games in 2005. Showed considerable poise and good decision-making ability as a deceptively tall wingman. Has good pace and is an exceptional kick. Was an emergency for the Grand Final. After the North Ringwood junior won the AFL under-18 championship playing for the Victoria Metro team, he was drafted with Sydney's final selection - number 64 overall - in 2002. The athletic left-footed midfielder - who looks up to Brisbane's Simon Black - has excellent disposal skills on both sides of his body. In his first year at the club Malceski played in the Wizard Home Loans Cup followed by a full complement of matches in the seconds playing at both ends and showing good decision-making ability. The successful year and solid pre-season gave him - and the coaching staff - hopes he would make his senior debut in 2004. However, expectations were quickly dashed when he ruptured an anterior cruciate ligament in a trial match requiring a knee reconstruction, reinforcing the best advice he was given by a coach to "work hard because it doesn't come easy". The good prospect spent the remainder of the year gaining experience on the other side as assistant coach working with the reserves midfielder group. He was expected to take most of 2005 to get confidence back but made his senior debut and ended up playing a handful of games.»-(¯`v´¯)-» Design your MySpace with MyLook «-(¯`v´¯)-«
