Hey, this is Beth and Josh's page, here is the deal me and Josh want to get married next summer but there is a little problem, I'm in KY going to Berea College and Josh is still in WV taking care of his sick mom because he dosen't have the money to move to KY to be with mr.History of our relationship:Beth started working at Oak Hill Wal-Mart just a few days after she graduated from Midland Trail High School to earn a little extra cash before she headed to Berea College for school in August. The reason she was hired to work at Wal-Mart was because the Wal-Mart in Oak Hill was going to be transferring to Fayetteville into a super center. Josh was working at the Beckley Wal-Mart Super Center at the time but he transferred to the Fayetteville store in order to help with the set-up of the store and not have to drive nearly as far to work, while they sent Beth straight from the Oak Hill store to help with set-up with most of the new people who started from the time she started at Wal-Mart. The first Thursday of set Beth and Josh met for the first time, it was Beth's first night shift at the new store and didn't have the slightest clue of what to do so she asked the overnight manager and had her putting together circle racks and 4-way clothing racks for the softlines department. She met a guy who was on the test scan crew and got to talking and found out they had alot in common and just kept talking even though he had to go to another part of the store his name was Jeremy. But at about 9:30 that night 30 mins before Beth and Josh both got off work the managers sent everyone who was finished doing their things to help with the racks and that is when Beth met Josh. Beth was being goofy wearing her Nickelback shirt from the concert she went to in March and jeans trying to screw on the arms on the 4-ways and she was playing jungle gym and was saying well i guess its time to play jungle gym and was climbing under the arms she had already put on on the other 4-ways. She saw Josh and thought he was so handsome and was like he's probably married or taken.... and went on not knowing the truth.
Hi, this is Josh, I remember the first time that I saw Beth I thought that she was with someone already but I couldn't take my eyes off of her, she was just so beautiful. She was about to break up with her boyfriend at the time. I remember she started playing jungle gym with one of the fixtures and thinking just how crazy this girl was and how I just had to get to know her because she was just so interesting. She seemed like the perfect woman for me, luckily I was right about that, but I didn't want to come off too aggressive and scare her off. That was too hard because I had a MAJOR crush on her. My friend Jeremy was trying to hook up with Beth and since he is a good friend and knew her better I stayed away and kept my feelings to myself. After about two weeks Jeremy could see that Beth wasn't interested in him and he could see that she was interested in me. I first seen it 2 days before I actually asked her out when Me and Jeremy went to go and get our foodhandlers cards. We came back to the store and got there right about the time Beth was leaving work that day. Me and Jeremy were on break and she stayed to talk to us and the more we talked then the more chemistry I began to see we had. I remember when she was getting into her car and she looked back at me I could tell by that look that she was interested in me. I couldn't deny the chemistry that Beth and I had, and still have, And Jeremy could see that. Despite his disappointment he could tell that we should be together and he told me that I should ask her out. We went out on our first date on Monday July 3rd and the chemistry was just so overpowering on that date that I broke my golden rule of no kissing on the first date. We saw Click and I remember her looking over at me and I could tell that she wanted to kiss me and I remember thinking to myself to wait and build up the anticipation. We both kept looking at each other and looking away and about half way through the movie we just looked at each other and just couldn't hold back anymore. We were both thinking the same thing because we both leaned in at the same time and had the most AMAZING kiss, you know the kind that take your breath away and you know from that moment on that your life will never be the same again.And it hasn't been the same, I remember that before I started dating Beth I had given up on dating all together. I was just concerned with taking care of my mom who has M.S. and just working because that was all my life had been for the past 5 years. I went out on dates every once in awhile but never had a connection with them, no chemistry. We've all been there before, haven't we? I was lonely for along time and Beth just walked into my life and shined a light that has filled up my heart ever since. I fell in love so quickly with her that it scared the crap out of me. I remember the first time that I told her I loved her that we were on the phone and it just slipped out in conversation, we had only been going out for about a week!!!!! But I remember the most after saying that and feeling my heart sink into my chest and seeing those words come out and not being able to grab them and pull them back in, was that she said that she loved me too and had felt that way for just as long as I had. That's the hardest thing about finding love is having to be apart from each other now. She has changed my life so profoundly that being apart now has just been unbareable. The thing that is keeping us apart now is money, I need to pay off some of my bills so that I can afford to move to Kentucky so that Me and Beth can be together and FINALLY happy.
