What about me? Well, you have got all the basics ^ up and over there somewhere. My real name is Gabrielle, but you can call me Gab, Gabs, Gabster, Gabmeister, Gabinator, Gabzilla, Gabrella. Take your pick. But choose wisely, because a name is a powerful thing!
Anyway, first and foremost...I love my family. They are my pillars and cement in my foundation which holds me up. I have an awesome Mom, an awesome Dad, and a kick-ass dogger!!
I am attending the Universirty of Denver, where I am currently studying Psychology, Religion, and Music. I want to be a Clinical Psychologist when I get older, eventually owning my own private practice. Why, you may ask. I want to help people. Biggest reason. Also, to make a living. I didn't grow up with organized religion, and therefore am studying it to see what is out there in terms of what I am willing or able to believe. Don't know if I will ever totally find what I am looking for but hey, the journey is the important thing!
Music...oh, dear music. How life is made so wonderful by music. I play the violin primarily and have been for 13 years now. I also play the saxophone, a little piano, and an even smaller amout of guitar. I can appreciate and I like many different kinds of music ranging from Classical to older Country to intelligent hip-hop to blues to jazz to rock to [insert genre of music here]. However, what moves my soul (and subsequently my body) is electronic music. I can't get enough of it. I am a RAVER and am not afraid to call myself one. And whatever your preconcieved notions about ravers are, I hope I can dispell the negative ones and magnify the positive ones. I am a KANDI KID. I am a KANDI JUNGLIST. If you don't know what that means..ask me. I will be happy to explain. I love bright colors, candy, kandi, soft toys, stuff animals, Hello Kitty, and FunShine Bear!
I am all about self expression through whatever medium I can get my hands on!! Whether it be journaling, writing poetry, taking pictures, making collages, making jewerly, singing, dancing, being crazy with my words, making funny sounds, playing my intruments, kissing girls who I find attractive and love, writing letters, drawing, or making my own clothes, know that I will be expressing me as much and as often as I can.
One last thing...
I have amazing friends. I couldn't ask for a better web of people to be close to me. I am truely blessed!
