FASHION, ART, MUSIC, FILM, A NEW ORDER

Manifesto

Discarding convention and believing in the primacy of the individual, each and every life, dontmagazine.com’s stated aim is to radicalize the young, if only in spirit, of all nations through music, art and fashion for the creation of a new order and good times. And, as this is the magazine’s music profile, we would also like to teach the world to sing in perfect harmony and buy the world an ice cold Coke. But this is not practical; some people are tone deaf, refrigeration has a terrible impact on the environment and we can’t afford it in any currency. So we would at least like to make sure that everyone has water, www.wateraid.com

Music may well be the food of love and love may well be all we need but food (carbohydrates, protein, etc) is still necessary, www.friendsofwfp.org , as is medicine, www.msf.org , and education, www.educationaid.org.uk . Can any amount of cultural endeavour bring about meaningful change, peace and social justice? We think so and the joy is in the struggle. It is necessary to imagine Sisyphus happy.

We like all genres of music, rock, rap, r&b, pop, punk, folk, electro, experimental…we follow every link, click on every track and are always pleased to hear from you.
