staying a well-informed parent; watching my baby grow; lively conversation with imaginative, quick-witted folks who are equally at home with discussing the abstruse as they are the trivial; people watching/dissecting; finding ways to bring my procrastination skills to the next level; dancing my already non-existent ass off;
people that actually listen to you when you speak with them; funny muthafuckas, you know, the gifted ones who make you laugh liquid out your nose; people that aren't offended by my propensity for using cuss words as nouns, adjectives and verbs; people that love to dance and want to go dancing with me; people that consistently wash their hands after handling their business; people with a firm grip on reality; people who realize karma is real and therefor act accordingly; people that know therefor may be spelled without an 'e' at the end; people that engine brake on the freeway; people with their insecurities in check; people who are a fuckin' blast; people that don't stiff you on the restaurant tab (you know the ones, for a 9.99 meal, they hand you 11 friggin' dollars, knowing damn well they had a soda and there's tax and tip involved);
the wiggles; rock n roll, rockabilly, jump blues, yadda yadda, you know the rest ('cept doo wop, nope don't like it, no siree) oh, and all other kinds of music too. put that in your pipe and uh, bite me...
only if i have to. i really can't sit still for 2 hours anymore. 'Yojimbo' is my favorite movie - i think. tied for second is 'Zed and Two Naughts' and 'Drowning By Numbers', maybe. i've seen 'A Room With A View' 30 times and love 'Harold and Maude'. Pee Wee is comedy. nothing else comes to mind. i'm the asshole grumbling during the credits that the book was much better.
i'm proud to say i am not held hostage by any tv show. i ain't sayin' i don't ever watch, but i don't have a need to watch anything consistently. i really wish i had the time to waste on tv, so i could use it more productively, like finish concoctng my evil plans to take over the world.
