(ct)MUSIC IN ALL FORMS WILL HAVE THE POTENTIAL FOR ME TO LIKE IT...DON'T JUDGE PEOPLE BY THE MUSIC THEY LISTEN TO. MUSIC IS MEANT TO BRING PEOPLE TOGETHER FOR A GOOD TIME; NOT TO ALIENATE PEOPLE FOR BEING ABNORMAL!!!NONE OF YOU ARE FUCKING NORMAL!!!!!! IF YOU HEAR ANY TYPE OF MUSIC AND WANT TO TURN IT OFF BECAUSE YOU *THINK* YOU MAY NOT LIKE IT, GIVE IT A CHANCE ANYWAYS; YOU'LL END UP LESS IGNORANT IN THE LONG RUN (unless it's whiny, razor-happy Emo; then there's a 99.9% chance it will really suck....all you Emo kids out there- go smoke a bowl or pop a zoloff, I promise you life won't suck forever! If you honestly think there's no hope at all, then do the world a favor and drop the razor, put your lips around a gun, AND PULL THE FUCKING TRIGGER FOR THE REST OF US!! I, and everyone else, are sick of you male-mascara wearing pussies killing Rock 'n Roll with your depressing negative attitudes!)But if you must know- I'll break it down by Decade:50's & Before- Johnny Cash (until the day he died), Elvis (before he was fat and drugged-up), Hank Williams Sr., Jerry Lee Lewis or anything else that comes on the oldies station that I can have fun to.60's- THE BEATLES ARE THE FOUNDATION OF ALL MODERN MUSIC; don't even try to say you like music if you can't respect them! Also, The Doors, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Jefferson Airplane, Rolling Stones, Grateful Dead, CCR, Willie Nelson, Cream, The Who, or pretty much whatever else that this beautiful generation of music put out...there will never be another '60's, and that fact makes me wish I wasn't only 24.70's- Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Lynyrd Skynryd, Aerosmith, Queen, Allman Bros., Alice Cooper, Eagles, War, Bob Marley, Rick James, Paul Mac & Wings, Sugarhill Gang, and other countless musical influences.80's- METALLICA (their ONLY good decade), Ozzy, Dio, Social Distortion, Ramones, Misfits, Guns N' Roses, Beastie Boys, Slayer, U2, Iron Madienvarious other new-wave and hair-metal novelty crap, Van Halen (mostly Dave- some Sammy) NWA, LL Cool J, Run DMC, Kurtis Blow, Boogie Down Productions, Grandmaster Flash, and most of the rest of the hip-hop explosion.90's- Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Tool, Pantera, Pearl Jam, Sublime, Rage Against the Machine, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Bone, 2pac, Biggie Smallz, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Gin Blossoms, Radiohead, Pennywise, KoRn, Suicidal Tendencies, Goo-Goo Dolls, Smashing Pumpkins, Wu-Tang Clan, 311, Blind Melon, Alanis Morrisette, TLC, Boyz 2 Men, George Strait, Toadies, Too Short, Dave Matthews Band, Blues Traveler Eric Clapton's comeback, R.E.M., Meat Puppets, Lenny Kravitz, Garth Brooks, and a whole Hell of a lot of One-Hit-Wonders from the College-Grunge-RapRocK decade. NOW- most of this new rock that is played on the radio & M(oron)TV sucks- it's depressing, suicidal, prettyboy-ish, and musically plain. I can give props to some of my favorites though- SYSTEM OF A DOWN & DISTURBED (the bands that will save Metal and us all from ignorance and apathy), Eminem & D12, 50 Cent and G-Unit, Avenged Sevenfold, -itis, Hatebreed, Big & Rich, Toby Keith, and some others....but not many. If you have a sound that can make music great again, then please join my group SPEDCO PRODUCTIONS.
