Sounds Like: Ocker is about movement and elegance. A harsh bass, a straight guitar, amazing drums and always packed with sweet synths. Ocker from Hamburg could bet he german answer to New Yorker Post-Punk. But this is different. More of New Order and Elastica and Tour de France. I dont know where this band is coming from all of the sudden but I am blown away.
Spex [11/03]
Air and Zoot Woman relate to similar traditions but they seem more artificial than OCKER, There is a word for this kind of music that is just as timelessly fashionable : cool.
FAZ [01/04]
less unsystematic than The Merricks, more danceable than Kreidler.
Intro [11/03]
Inspired by Kraftwerk, Air and Captain Future, the best New Order-Songs since years!.
Rolling Stone [11/03]
This could become big.
Musikexpress [11/03]
