Greetings! My name is Juha-Matti ("John" in english) and I'm a christian rock musician. I'm the guitarist and main background singer in a christian hardrock band called "Aerosoldier". My main influences as a guitarist are Vito Bratta (my hero forever), George Lynch, and Steve Lynch. As a singer, my influences include Geoff Tate, Don Dokken, and Michael Kiske. I listen to a lot of music daily, nowadays I can't live without it. Music is a big part of my life.
When I'm not working with music my hobbies include working out at a gym and watching movies, mostly fantasy and action films. Two of my all time favorite films are "Willow" and "Karate Kid". Other favorite films of mine include action films like "Top Gun" and "Die Hard". I've also played video games most of my life to this day and I'm a big fan of old games (NES & SNES games, etc.) as well as newer games like Metal Gear Solid 4 and Virtua Fighter 5 (I do own a PS3). I still play PC games like Rollercoaster Tycoon and Age Of Empires 2 too. My favorite PC games, however, are Baldur's Gate 1 & 2. And yes, I'm a fan of the AVGN too, I watch all his new reviews concerning crappy games. About my band projects, I formed a christian rock group "Heartbeat" in 2004 with three other members, and we did about 10 gigs and recorded a 5-song demo E.P. during our time together, until the band eventually broke up in 2006 because the singer left the band due to personal reasons. I decided to move on and look for new band mates. Soon I ended up forming a more straight ahead christian rock group "Aerosoldier" in 2006 with my good friends Joonas and Markus (www.myspace.com/aerosoldiermetal). As I mentioned above, we play christian rock music in the 1980's hair metal style, which means catchy guitar riffs, acrobatic guitar solos, tight musicianship and great hooks. I hope you enjoy your time visiting my page. Though I want to say one thing about adding me to your friends; Please do not add me just because of getting more friends to fill your list (or just to promote your songs on your profile and never say a word.. I really dislike that). I really appreciate all the friend requests and do accept all of them (to this day I've never rejected one) but what I do hope is that you'd keep in contact with me if you ask me to be your friend.
