About Me

Hey, I'm Mark Stipic, a very passionate musician residing in Melbourne, Australia. I've been playing electric bass for about 12 years now. I also play double bass, guitar, keyboards and clarinet. Recently I have also strangely acquired a taste for DJing and have some wicked decks and a massive collection of tunes to spin.

I have a home recording studio with a bunch of cool synths, guitars and other groovy stuff. Having gotten my brain around the wonders of recording and MIDI I spend every spare moment writing and recording songs, some of which you can hear on this page. I also make backing tracks for bands and solo artists, so if you're in a coverband or a soloist I can take care of all your backing track needs!!

I'm currently gigging a lot around Melbourne, mainly with rock institution PEAN. I'm still available for fill-in gigs and session work for covers, originals and studio work. I have very versatile equipment and playing style and am confident I can satisfy all your low-end needs, so drop me a line if you require some Thundering Bass Of Doom.
And I just gotta drop it in: yes, I scored a gig on Neighbours a while back and subsequently recorded bass for Dean Geyer and Caitlin Stasey's forthcoming single "Unforgettable" so stay tuned!
