Mike passed away on September 23rd, 2006. He left a party with his buddies Kendal, Sam and Adam. They were driving down a windy road when the car veered off the road, hit soft sand and then skidded into a tree. It is said that Mike died on impact, the other three guys survived thank god. Kendal suffered the most severe injuries including breaking his pelvic bone in half. Adam broke bones and Sam suffered head injuries. It is amazing that all three survived. Alcohol was related sadly, but no one hates Mike for it because we are all guilty of it. It's just a harsh reality to know that he is gone for now. I'm most positive that he is up there jammin with the best of the best and has a smile on his face.
He was an amazing friend, son, brother, musician and comiedian. Everytime he walked into a room his presence was known because he would crack a joke. For all of you who know him, know that he was amayzing. He got along with everyone no matter what. He played in several bands throughout his life and usually played lead guitar and vocals. He had a Kurt Cobain sound to his voice, the song on this page is him singing. He played with his best friend Justin Bellavance, Dustin Fraser and Kevin Safford in Smart Retardent back in 2000. Justin and Mike were also in Trunk Ride with Kyle Flewelling. He then played in the Kellyville Killers with Sam Sayer, Kendal Sayer and Adam Wright. He lived with his sister Suzanne, her husband and his newphew in Portsmouth and Rochester. He played the guitar for Gallows and blended for I am Pegasus. He played gigs up and down the eastern seaboard. . Mike's death has been especially hard for his friends and family because he was such a happy person. Whenever anyone was feeling down, Mike was there to cheer them up. Him and Justin could have started their own comedy act together just because their favorite thing to do was to entertain people. You are greatly missed Mike, and we will never forget you.
