I have been involved somewhat in music for my whole life and it has become a huge influence in the way that I express myself at least try to. My father was probably my biggest influence growing up in music, always dancing to his drum beats when he would play in the basement,wow that was a long time ago. Though he never pressured me into playing but he was the one who supported me and provided the means to make me the musician that I am today. Let's not forget moms taste in music though which was also a huge influene. Anyways when I am in the mood I love writing poetry and thinking of ideas for a wonderful movie. As well I love writing movie scores and performing as much as possible. I have been playing drums and percussion since about the age of 7 or 8 but not as serious until about the age of 15 and have used that as a gateway through many hard times and stresful situations. Now it is slowly becoming a way of communication for me as well as the music I have started recently composing. I have been in a band "OZ" for the last couple of years. Oz is now moving up and playing in Atlanta and we won a battle of the bands! pretty amazing since it being our first. Now me and the guitarist Adam Clifford have started a side project "The Matt and Cliff Experiment" and the results have been brilliant and incredibly musical but we rarely find time outside of Oz. But on another note I have discovered that I want to do exceptional things in my life and want to be loved by someone who could never doubt my love for them because I feel that is what love truly deserves. On that, my incredible love Jillian...simply put..."POINT.DONE". I never thought I would find so many ways to connect to so many different things, Music, Jillian, and lately trying to connect to myself which is the hardest thing. My sister played a major role in understanding life, she has always been "the philosopher" lol. On yet on another note I care about my friends so much and I feel so amazing when I am around them because they are all so incredible and it is influencing my life incredibly. So thank you all very much for being my friends and my family. But to find words with how I feel about love now is impossible, with Jillian it is so much more than that. I am so happy with her in my life I can't wait to see what the future brings. point.done :) -one love - matthew
