DJ Latin Lunatic

I am 31 years old born and raised in Milwaukee WI. I got into music when I was young but when I got into house music I was 10 years old. My parents went to visit family in chicago and thats when I fell inlove with the old school. I had cousins who were into break dancing and all that ...I dabbled a little in that but it wasn't me. My heart and soul was for djing. I use to hear the mixxes on the radio then saw it done at a quinceanera my mom had gone to. I watched him mix all night long...I was 12 years old whenI got into touchin' the 1's and 2's oh man it was so awsome. After that I was hooked. I didn't have the chance to make it big because I didn't have enough support and growing up my parents couldn't afford to help me out. So I didn't get to own my own equipment and practice 24/7 I was only able to do it from time to time. When I was 13 I got a little job and and was saving up for some turntables my mom found out and she was gonna help. couple months before my 14th b-day my moms got sick...On Dec 13th 1989 I had just turned 14 my moms passed. It was the hardest and worst time of my life. I gave up on a lot and Djaying was one. 3 years later when I had just turned 17 on Dec 22nd my father followed his true love. I had to grow up on my own... life was hard I felt like a child still. When I turned 18 I started to try and get into my DJaing again. I bought my equipment and DJed for parties,schools,weddings and at a bar for 5 years. I was known on the southside of Mill town. I wasn't rich or made boku money but what made me feel rich was when peple came up to me and said "DAMN YOU WERE JAMMIN" "AND UR A GIRL"?....LMAO or they would ask for me when I had off and just the thought of knowing "Hey its me making them people have a great time tonight '...thats my richness when I DJ. After my tough times I looked through my mixxes as an outlet to let me express what I am feeling. It helps me relieve my stress and it relaxes me. It gave me life when I thought I was dead. This is me and I am alive and DJaing is my dream,my heart ,and my soul...without it I would be lost...
