About Me

I'm A Happily Married (23years)mother of 3 (19 year old twins and a 16 year old)I have a job, but not a career, whatever that means. My biggest hobby would have to be Genealogy and I have gone back as far as the late 1300's (yes that includes plenty of famous people). I like traveling but because I have kids, that is usually put on the back burner. My claim to fame is being everywhere in the USA except Alaska and Hawaii and all across Canada. I have no desire to leave the USA. Next to Genealogy, you can't keep my nose out of a book. I read for enjoyment, entertainment and enrichment and contrary to what my friends say, I DO NOT know EVERYTHING

My Interests

Genealogy....Yes I'm a nerd, very proud of it, been doing Genealogy since I was 15. Go ahead and ask me I know you want to....yes I do have some famous people in my line...ya wanta know who?? One of my VERY favorite sites is called www.Findagrave.com Check it out I have contributed over 800 graves to the site. I also love to read and play games on the computer, mostly on Pogo.com

I'd like to meet:

Ben Franklin and all his buddies(I have questions!). I would love to sit down and talk to Mark Twain, Party with Toby Keith, Bowl with Drew Carey and golf with Willie Nelson.

Music:

Country-There is nothing else, I have listened to it since I was a little kid, tryed to like Rock and Roll like my friends, but I am a leader not a follower!

Movies:

Historic/Comedy/Romance. Lots of favorits, I don't get out much so I own PLENTY of them on DVD.

Television:

CSI (Vegas only), House and Bones. I'm a big fan of 70's TV shows too, won't admit which ones, but I have plenty of them on DVD too.

Books:

Everything!, I am an Information Sucker, if all I had was the back of a ceral box I would make the best of it.

Heroes:

Mothers, Fathers, and Parents that stay together. I feel if you can raise a loving, caring and respectful child you are half way to saving the world

Steve Yzerman was named Vice President of the Detroit Red Wings. Don't know anyone that deserves it more. His Jersey (19) will be retired in January. Gotta Love that Stevie!...
