We all originally lived in the same town, Harlingen. We started playing music together and have been been at it for well over a decade. We've played all over Texas and are looking to play music for many more years.
Stylistically, each memeber of 3 brings a little some thing different to the table. We all listen to different music and it shows in the writing of our music. Isaac Christopher, lead vocals and guitar has been playing for 12 years. "I've played all over Texas, played in New York, Chicago, and Greenland. I love writing and playing the guitar. I play everyday." With heartfelt lyrics and a well accomplished hand at the guitar, he delivers a soulful performance every time 3 plays. Mando Ayala has been playing music for about a decade as well. He originally started playing guitar with Jorge, but bass players are hard to find and keep so eventually he moved to the bass. He is definitely into the harder types of music and it shows in his writing. He lends powerful vocals and rhythm to the group as well as a great sense of melody for writing lyrics. Jorge, the final member, is an awesome drummer. He's been playing music for what seems like forever. And he doesn't just keep to one style. He can play rock, jazz, prog, and others which help lend a creative hand in the writing process. He also plays a mean guitar.
Please do yourself a favor and check out 3. They are one of the most powerful three-piece bands in Austin period. And I'm not talking about a blues trio. I'm talking about hard rock music.
