Eis forEmpathic What Does Your Name Mean? So I've finally left or put another way I'm finally here. Dubai, UAE, my new home. Big hugs and kisses to all of my friends back in England. Its been a week and I miss ya- I wouln't come back but I wouldn't say no to bringing you all out here, thats for sure. The new chapter has begun. I've started work as a recruitment consultant and hopefully future partner for a technical recruitment company. I'm living with my family again for the first time in over a decade (gulp). But the rents are great so its all good.I'm looking forward to surfing the stretch down by the Burge Al Arab which I'm told gets pretty good swell, kite surfing down at Juierah beach - which I know from previous experience gets an awsome wind. And hitting up SkiDubai which I also know has some awsome freestyle nights. And you can add to that wakeboarding and outrigging (paddling). All in all you can probably tell that if its outdoors, fast and/or involves getting wet I love it!About me - well I graduated from La universidad de Portsmouth in June 06 having studyied International Relations and Spanish. Awsome course and a beautiful language. Get Your Own! | View SlideshowI'm an incredibly proud mummy of a completely awsome if slightly mad four year old who could make the squarest of miserable-moody-pants smile and has a completely no-fear attitude to life. Forward apologies if there are too many gushy pictures of Madge (AKA Mad Charlie) but she is the centre of my world so it wouldn't be MYspace without her.Get Your Own! | View SlideshowAll in all I love life, I love people - my friends and family and feel very VERY lucky just to be here to experience my time with them. Finally I'm intent on remaining firmly committed to the promotion of Human Rights and intend on working with my Dad's branch of the Charity (shameless plug coming up) The Light House Foundation, while in Dubai. The LHF campaigns for decent and safe working conditions for migrant labour and provides support to the families of those injured or killed. Fingers crossed I don't get myself booted out by the Sheiks for ruffling to many feathers with damning exposes eh?So friends - keep in touch and don't be afraid to ask me any questions if your thinking about a hol or working in Dubbers. The more the merier - bring it on!

My Interests

myspace generators

font,
Myspace LayoutsQuality time with the family - Kindda grown out of clubbing tho occasionally get dragged along. Prefer going out to gigs or meals with mates and hitting a few bars after. Apart from family and friends the stuff that makes me feel alive is Surfing, Snowboarding, Kite surfing, water Skiing /wake boarding (trying to), Kayaking, Swimming, Aggressive inline skating, dance - hip hop/street - poppin n lockin n stuff. Ohhh and eating looorve food savour sweet. Think about it more than sex - most times

I'd like to meet:

Aung San Suu Kyi of Myanmar - to marvel and discover how any human spirit can be so strong. Jimmy Hendrix - legend! Johnny Depp - Say no more huh ladies? Mandela - a man of awsome strength and vision One day - the man of my dreams, someone confident but kind, selfless but strong.

Music:

A broad spectrum- Depends if I'm dancing, thinking, chilling, loving smokin or riding. I am dissapointed by the phenomenon of commercial pop - its spoon feeding children rubbish which dulls their artistic tendancies. I love rediscovering the pleasure of albums you haven't listened to in ages even years - music is so powerful when it comes to envoking memories. This week I will be mostly listening to: Xavier Rudd (coz I went to see him at the Wedge n now I'm hooked) Goo Goo Dolls, Q- Tip and Offspring and Phonics - just dusted off those Albums - special stuff! Masters of the Universe - check out there myspace (local talent - very impressive). Bedouin Sound Clash (seeing them on the 4th v.excited bout that). And now, thanks to nobody except me my I-pod is fixed so I'm looking forward to spending some cosy nights in downloading some new music.

Movies:

Comedy, it has to be comedy! 40 year old Virgin - side spliter! Not forgetting Sandler, Stiller and Snider films for the classic one-liners: 'Thats a huge b*tch' and the oldies such as Waynes World - Myers is a genius. Totti fest - Pirates and From Hell - 'Hello Jonny... mmmmmmm' Serious - Hotel Rwanda and Cry Freedom - remind us that we cannot turn our back on those who deserve what we take for granted.

Television:

Waste of my time - unless its LOST eeeeekkkkk!! So exciting and Sied gives me that warm fuzzy feeling if you know what I mean- a truly cosmic hornmiester! - Apparently the new season starts in a month - oh joy oh joy!

Books:

atm - White Mughals by William Dalrymple - very long but very good. Just finished Mouthing The Words - autobiography by a very brave if slightly insane Camilla Gibb.

Heroes:

Aung San Suu Kyi of Myanmar (formerly Burma). Complete selflessness, determination and love for her people. Not since Madela has the world witnessed such resolution. Soon may she be free. Massive respect!!! Sir Bob Geldoff tho he is a little misguided and has been caught up in politics and no longer seems to understand the true cause of poverty (TRADE)- his heart is in the right place and he's tenacious and energetic sole and I think he's be jolly nice to have acuppa with.
