I'd like to meet:

There are no particular people that I care to meet, for I know there is no person that one can meet without learning something from them. I am pagan, poet and my own prophet so people with like minded creative minds are those whom I seek out. I am a studier of Ancient Cultures and all things Otherworldly.Being an empath as well, I find that people who desire to have counsel offered seem to seek me out as that is the fated path I was and am meant to walk. I adore that part of me, and the people I meet thru that counseling. Meeting people with extraordinary gifts and talent would be my first choice. Writers, Artists, Musicians etc. That would be who I would like to meet.

Music:

I am 41 years old so my taste in music is quite varied. Older influences would follow suit with The Police, Scandal, The Motels, Sting, Nugent, Genesis, Rush, Boston, Bad Company, Clapton and more serious rock and roll music. However thru my son, I have come to be very fond of more alternative and metal style music such as Evanescence, Hole, Trapt, Switchfoot, Chevelle, Live, Coldplay, The Verve, The Killers and more goth rock like COF, Opeth, and foreign bands...The Gathering, Arcania and other European influenced music. This does not mean I wont sit down and listen to Opera or Classical music. Mostly I refuse to listen to *gospel and hard rap* HipHop tends to be tolerable ~laughs~Lacuna Coil ~Swamped~..The Gathering ~Liberty Bell~..

Movies:

I am a lover of many types of movies ranging from Stigmata and End of Days to more current ones like The Covenant, Fearless and Crank. Yeah I have seen them all and they were quite good! I can always fall back on the Matrix Trilogy and LOTR trilogy...and have a strong affinity for more sci-fi type movies...yanno, the ones that make you sit down and just deeply ponder the *what if's* I love good comedies and great action packed movies, but there are very few *love stories* that I choose to watch. Casablanca, Kate and Leopold and moreso the OLD black and white ~no movie stars like that anymore~ kind of films~

Television:

As stated above I thrive on Sci-fi so I watch many of the shows on that channel. Huge Stargate fan as well as BSG but also like the new shows Eureka and Dead Like Me. In turn I will sit for hours watching the History Channel or the Discovery Channel as well as liking shows such as Miami Ink, Inked, Dog the Bounty Hunter and regular network shows like CSI, NCIS, Law and Order, Justice, The Unit, Crossing Jordan, Nip Tuck and older out of production shows like Charmed. Of course anything with a magickal influence will quickly get my attention.

Books:

Book for me run a different route than for most. I don't read much for entertainment purposes as much as I do for learning purposes. I do enjoy Anne Rice, Stephen King, Dean Koontz, R.A. Salvatore and other modern thriller writers, but more oft than not you will see me quietly sitting reading such things a The Master Herbalism book, The Encyclopedia of Elemental Witchcraft, Crowley books, Faery books, Books on the study of Runes, Gaelic tongue, all Grimassi books and Edgar Cayce as well. ~chuckles~ I am quite the diverse person, or maybe strange in others eyes~

Heroes:

I do not believe in heros persey. Never have. I think that we all have a little hero inside us all that shows itself thru compassion, love and the song of the soul. When acting in perfect love and perfect trust, we offer that piece of *hero* to all we come in contact with. Now....if ya wanna talk about heros as in people that I see as very acclaimed in their professions...then it would have to be politicians like Hilary Clinton, Rice, McCain, Kennedy . Writers mentioned above, musicians like Clapton, Jim Morrison, BB King and more of the newer ones such as these young and upcomming alternative bands...and yes I adore Lukas Rossi as for me he is one of the most talented performers and singers of this time. Movies/TV? *laughs* well, it never hurts to sit and look at people like Kevin Spacey, Gabriel Byrne, Orlando Bloom, Johnny Depp, Julian McMahon and Hugh Jackman, just to throw a few hot faces out there.
