I am a mother, a wife, an actress, Governor of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences' Daytime Programming Peer Group for the 2005 - 2007 term, and the celebrity spokesperson for The ALS Association. I have played the role of Esther Valentine in The Young and the Restless since 1982, with Esther's first line as "Dinner is served."
