About Me: I was borne in Nilphamari, a small beautiful town in northern Bangladesh.
I grew up there together with my 5 other sisters. At my high school I was impressed by the words of wisdom of the great mystic poet, philosopher and musician Rabindranath Tagore. Although I finished my University study in the area of natural science, yet I was always a lover of devotional and mystical songs of Tagore, Atul Prashad, D.L.Roy, Rajanikanta and many other Bengali interpreters.
It was really a blessing for me to get in touch with my first music lesson teachers ustad Ajit Kumar Dhar, Kanu Ghosh and Lutfar Rahman at Nilphamari later from Sayanat Institute, Dhaka. I received lessions of Rabindrasangeet from Wahidul Haque and Sadi Mohammed Taqiullah and classical music lession from ustad Sanjeev Day.
