Lil bit of Country, Lil bit of Rock and Roll....

About Me

Born and grew up in Australia, now married and living in Southern Indiana. Yes, I still have the accent, although its been changed from living in Southern Indiana for years. So now I say things like "G'day ya'll, I ain't got no accent" :) Thats a great way to mess with people.

Love world travel, flying (pilot), gadgets, computers, cars, collecting souvenirs from around the world.

I love writing songs, the list is growing substantially and right now working on getting some songs finished and recorded.

Crowded House - Only the best band ever.

Neil Finn is a songwriting genius! - "Still so young to have travelled so far, old enough to know who you are, wise enough to carry the scars, without any pain, there's no one to blame..." Doesn't get much better than that

Enjoy this rare video from their last ever concert!

..

And if you liked that one, then take a look at another classic Crowded House video.

Music:

Anything Aussie! And love most music in general, but mostly Country music, some Southern Rock, some Christian music. But I also love the old school Aussie stuff, AC/DC, Men at work, Crowded House, Split Enz and some INXS.

Whats on my favorites playlist right now? Talking Heads, Carrie Underwood, John Mellencamp, Laura Lynn, Kenny Chesney, Split Enz, Joe Nichols, Sugarland, Blake Shelton, Little River Band, Jimmy Buffet, Crowded House, Gretchen Wilson, Tim and Neil Finn, Keith Urban, Audio Adrenaline, Keith Anderson, Natasha Bedingfield.

Movies:

Pretty much anything, I love all movies. Action mainly but I like any excuse to crank up the home theatre.

Television:

CMT, Star Trek Next Generation, Anthony Bordain No Reservations, CMT, Globe Treker, Home Improvement, CMT Music Television, especially Crossroads. Oh, did I mention CMT? Our Tivo is usually getting something from CMT...

Books:

I dont read as much as I should. I like audio books though. I spend a lot of time on planes, so should read more, but I usually spend that time either listening to music or writing lyrics.

Heroes:

Kenny Chesney and Keith Urban, they both inspired me to start songwriting. Kenny Chesney stood on stage at the CMT Flameworthy awards and said "If any of y'all have any dreams to make it, dont let anybody tell you that you cant do it"
My Wife - For overcoming so many obstacles in her life and putting up with me at the same time.
My friend Dan - for being an awesome mentor to my wife and I.
Dexter Yager, for proving you can come from nowhere with nothing and be hugely successful. He's the one who says "Don't let anybody steal your dream!".
