I grew up in Baltimore, Maryland. I had my own Interior Finish business for 30 years. In 1999, I wanted to live my dreams, act in TV and movies. So I started as an extra and appeared in The Replacements, The West Wing, Along Came A Spider, Hannibal, Sweet Home Alabama,HBO The Wire, HBO Something The Lord Made, Pizza Boli's, commercial, etc...I also wanted to learn the "behind the camera" part of the industry. It all started when I answered an ad to help Towson University students on their film projects. I began to work on independent projects as a Grip, Set construction, Set Design, Locations, and before too long, I became the Line Producer on a film called CHAINSAW SALLY, just released.
My friends moved to Hollywood to find work, and they did.I stayed back in Baltimore and worked for the Maryland Film Festival and some small gigs here and there, all the while driving a limo to pay my living expenses. One day, I got a phone call from my Hollywood buddies, they ask me if I wanted to work on a reality show as a Grip and driving the grip truck. The money was good, so I was Hollywood bound! I worked as a Grip on the show until the end of the season. I was called back for the next season to be the Assistant Director. You see, the show is called 'Clean House' on the Style Network, and it's all about interior finishes, and my buddies in Hollywood, they are the Towson film students. Funny how it all worked out.
I am still here 4 years later making Movies and living my dreams at the age of 57.p align=center
