About Me

I'm a heck of a nice guy - friendly, honest, happy-go-lucky... and, as you can tell, modest!I've been lucky enough to have a book published, and want to shout it from the rooftops! It's a novel, loosely based on my hilarious misadventures in the fast food industry, entitled "Timothy's Take-Out." Although it's only been out a short time, it already appears to be selling quite steadily online (to my amazement and delight!) If anyone out there is looking for a GREAT book to curl up with, or is at their wit's end as to what to get that special, hard-to-buy-for-person - this baby's for you! And you can tell everyone you know the author! LOL

My Interests

Writing (obviously), dogs, weightlifting, movies, music, boxing...

I'd like to meet:

My door is open to anyone and everyone. I'm just happy to be here among you.Of course beautiful women will receive special treatment - I am a man, after all.KIDDING!!!

Music:

It's easier to describe what I DON'T like - hip hop, new country, contemporary pop.I'm partial to 50's - 70's pop/rock, opera, heavy metal, big band era stuff... Basically, I feel that a good song is a good song, regardless of genre.

Movies:

I think my favorite movies are the inspirational ones - Braveheart, Rudy, Miracle, and most recently, Coach Carter. As a 'little' author who is attempting to take on the big boys at Doubleday and Random House, I can really relate to 'defying the odds' movies - they move me.

Television:

I don't like much, to be honest. Documentaries, nature shows, and a few of the reality shows, like American Chopper and Perfect Match.

Books:

Timothy's Take-Out is far and away the best book I have ever read in my life! (Nudge, nudge, wink, wink...)A Separate Peace was great, and I loved "Bad Karma" by Deb Blum. (The latter is the best true crime book I've ever read, and that's saying something, as I've probably read thousands!)

Heroes:

James Cook, Alexander von Humboldt, Lou Gerhig, Hank Aaron, Johannes Brahms, Ed Coan, my parents - so many great people influenced me, hard to name 'em all...
