About Me

When I'm not travelling the globe in search for the perfect sauce, I usually reside in the sun-shiney little bubble of limited-reality called "The Conjeo Valley." I'm an avid, lifelong drummer/percussionist. I love to read books, ride my motorcycle, watch good films, laugh my ass off, and really let my inner lesbian out. Despite all the 'lows' that go hand-in-hand with life on this planet, I have come to realize that they are necessary, otherwise the 'highs' wouldn't be that great at all. All in all, I really feel like I have it made in life, because I have so many good friends, and an amazing family. So, I really try to give all of that love back to the people who I meet and are good. And the beautiful cycle goes on and on!

Aliens, Happy Gillmore, Brain-Candy, Star Wars (especially the original trilogy), Fight Club (great sound-track), The Goonies, Snatch, Lord of the Rings trilogy(huge fan), 4 Rooms, whole lot more to come...

Television:

It's all about Comedy Central! -South Park, The Daily Show, Chapelle show, Reno 911.. Other networks sometimes give us the unexpected treats such as: MMX Most Extreme Elimination Challenge, Simpsons, Futurama, Family Guy... as you can see I really like comedy.. HBO has some impressive series' too: Deadwood, The Sopranos, and of course - Da Ali-G Show!! most everything else on T.V. is bullshit marketing and mind-numbing drama. Most sitcoms make me want to poke my eyes out.

Books:

Frank Herbert - the entire 'Dune' series of novels, along with the prequels written along with his son Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson.... J.R.R. Tolkein - you know the ones.... Robert Jordan - 'The Wheel of Time' series.... Ian M. Banks - 'Consider Phlebas,' 'The Player of Games,' Excession', and all of his Culture universe novels, and then some more. FUckin' amazing author.... Neal Stephenson - 'Snow Crash' and 'The Diamond Age : Or, a Young Lady's Illustrated Primer'.... William Gibson - 'Neuromancer'.... Douglas Adams - 'Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy' series.... Anne Rice - 'The Vampire Chronicles' series and all of the rest........just to name a few
