Forced Evolution @ Metal Camp 2008 Tolmin/Slovenia

Coming from the south of Belgium, in the industrial triangle of Aubange-Arlon-Signeulx, Forced Evolution is an amazing mix of sharpened guitars, heavy melodies and atmospheres supported by a powerful voice that we find in the extreme music nowadays. It was with the coming of the wintry weather in 2005 that Ulrich Schadeck (Lead Guitars) conceived the idea of Forced Evolution . He wanted to create a band in the image of his liking and his ambitions.
As soon as he set himself his targets and that his first compositions were started, he suggested to Nicolas Toussaint (Rhythm Guitars) and Schumyx (Bass Guitar) to join him. Both of them accepted his invitation. All three of them knew each other, they were old friends and they played in the same band during their secondary education. From this well-knit group, our fellows went in search of members capable of completing the line-up to build up a perfect machinery. So in February 2006 they met and recruited Guillaume Pierson (Drums) and Samir Riahi as singer.
They recorded a first demo in summer 2006. This one allowed them to give concerts and even to take part in the Belgian final of the Blastbeat competition. Moreover, the standard of the songs allowed them to be 'Track of the day' on Garageband.com and to win a reputation in their area and beyond. Besides, between practicing and concerts, Forced Evolution continued to compose to go to a more extreme style. In 2007, Samir decided to leave the group for personal reasons. Lionel Bauer (Vocals) replaced him quickly. Although he had a more aggressive style, his strong personality fitted in with the new compositions perfectly.
In summer 2007, they recorded a new cd with their own means in their rehearsal room. The band members bought all the necessary hardware and the project was engineered by Nicolas (Rhythm Guitars). The recording done, the tracks were sent to Sweden to be mixed by Ronnie Björnström, of Enhanced Audio Productions. Once again posted to the Garageband competition, their new compositions were all 'Track of the day' and got extra awards like best rocking track, best guitars, best drums, best male vocals, best production and plenty more besides.
Not content with being a promising band, Forced Evolution don't hesitate to take up challenges to prove the validity of their reputation. That's the way they played in a prison (for a Christmas/New year event) in December 2007 or they won the Blastbeat regional competition in 2008 and got to the Belgian final. Always for that very reason they opened for Devil Driver on 30th April 2008 at the Rockhal, one of the most famous concert halls in Luxembourg. In July 2008, they'll take part in the Metal Camp Festival in Slovenia and will share the stage with international metal bands as Arch Enemy, Soilwork, In Flames, Apocalyptica and many others.
Evolving quickly and forging their own personality with devastating riffs and fast tempos, Forced Evolution plays an intense modern melodic trash metal. The first wish of the group is to transport the listener into their own musical world, while dealing with various subjects linked up to the human condition.
