I'm a musician, living in Berlin, playing basses, guitars & irish bouzouki, piano & keyboards and melody-steelpan, and sometimes I sing. Born in 1961 in Halle/S., East-Germany(GDR), as the seventh of seven children; At the age of 10 I startet learning piano and a short time later classical guitar and church-organ; 1977-87 I worked as a Joiner; 1987 I finished my education at "Konservatorium G.F. Händel" in Halle and I got a "Professionel-Musician-Licence" as a guitarplayer (an important document to live as a musician in the GDR); since 1987 I was a musician in Halle, playing in very famous Bands like Dr. Fisch, Cloud Six, Petite Fleur, E-Mu from Sangerhausen, Guitar-Duo Ecki Gleim-Uli Wagner u.a.; in 1989 I moved to West-Berlin; 1991-95 I studied Bass at the "Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler"; I played in very different Bands and different styles of music like funk,jazz,salsa,blues,rock,fusion,reggae,pop,modern classic,big-bands,worldmusic...., worked as teacher in national and international music-workshops in germany and france, as tutor for Youth-Big-Band Sachsen-Anhalt, but actually that all is not so important and tells nothing about me, I only try to bring you in boring mood, that's my way, little joke (or not ?). Anyway, here come the next VERY IMPORTANT FACTS - WOOOOOOooooooooOOOWWWW: since 1998 I teach el.guitar, el.bass,doublebass, piano & keyboard at the "Musikschule Oberhavel" in Oranienburg; I play with following Bands: Josie, Gunnary, Party-Animals, Happy Rabbits,U.F.O.Horns,International Mosquito, Spirited,Blueset. CD - recordings with U.F.O.-Horns, International Mosquito, Don't Tell Mama, Christian-Gilles Sabot's Sabotage, Blueset, Gunnary, Ines Cagle, Institute for mentale Gesundheit, Josie, Fliesen-Kiesling, Leasing-Fiesling u.a. What did you say ? You never heard about one of this bands ? (Was kann ich dafür, Menschenskind ? Bin ich Moses ? Wächst mir Gras aus der Hosentasche ? Oder ist der Kreis'n Quadrat, oder wer ?) (Naja nu sei ma ni glei saua respective Na-yes, don't be sour, now.
