Jimmy Stephens

Jimmy Stephens is a 28-year-old native of Sand Mountain, Alabama. He began singing at age five. He got his first guitar at age six and actually performed a show at age ten. Since then, the drive to perform has been part of who he is.
Jimmy has won various talent contests including the Dottie West Music Festival in McMinnville, Tennessee and the Celebrity International Star Search in Nashville. After commuting back and forth between Alabama and Nashville for many years, Jimmy moved to Smithville Tennessee in 1993 to be closer to the Nashville scene. He attends writer’s nights in Nashville whenever possible. He has a love for song writing and works hard on developing his craft.
Jimmy’s influences are many. Artist like George Jones, Merle Haggard, Travis Tritt, and Aaron Tippin have all been influential to the development of Jimmy’s singing style.
Jimmy has been performing at The Spot in Smithville Tennessee for the past 3 years. He and his band The Untouchables play Saturday nights. He also does numerous parties and other events in the area. Jimmy’s desire and goal for his life is to be a singer/song-writer. He works hard toward the development of that goal.
