Il progetto è sfumato dopo i primi emozionanti eventi.. La partenza di amedeo per mesi e altri fattori hanno portato allo scioglimento della band..
L'obbiettivo è da considerarsi comunque raggiunto.. ..spolverare i vecchi strumenti, ..riunire la vecchia band di un tempo e riuscire finalmente a creare qualcosa di nuovo.. qualche nuova emozione.. Pochi ma buoni sono stati gli eventi a cui abbiamo partecipato, molte e buone son state le persone che hanno apprezzato la reunion.. partecipando numerosamente alle due serate quasi definibili storiche.. Un ringraziamento va a tutti i nostri amici. A tutti i componenti della band che ora hanno intrapreso altre strade portando avanti lo stesso spirito, ai boys ( e chi sa sa.. ), a tutto quello che ci ha portato ad essere come siamo, a tutte quelle cose che facendo anche male ci hanno indicato la direzione, a tutte le serate passate insieme, a tutti i discorsi sul cosa, su come, su quando.. per riuscire un giorno ad arrivare da qualche parte..
A danny cash, buon vecchio socio del fermi inseritosi a meraviglia nel progetto. All'ame, benzina sul fuoco. A mammi per la sua eccellente disponibilità nonostante tutti gli impegni. A rick per la sintonia che c'era, c'è stata e ci sarà sempre.
A tutti i nostri killer.. che talvolta ferendoci a morte ci hanno fortificato..
cinque anni fa, ormai sei, la band aveva chiuso i battenti anche in maniera non positiva.. Le cose non potevano finire così.. e così è stato.. Ora questo è un'addio... ma mai dire mai. Un abbraccio, Matte.
Thanx the Killer was born or better reborn from the ashes of the old-crappy high school-band lined up by Matte, Mammy, Rick and Ruo: the good old Clouds over the Crowd or Titoli di coda... The aim was getting back together playing music for the others, but overall for ourselves. The initial input had been given by Ame "Ray Emo" months ago, (july 2006), who, confiding in the success of the project, wanted to jam something with Rick and Matte, asking them to pick their old guitars up. While they were playing some embarassing cover songs, who happened to come there?! Mammy! Who immediately takes the drum sticks from Ame presenting himself as their official drummer, pushing the good Ame to the mic. Now only one piece was missing: a good bass player! After weeks searching, the band met at the pub the old friend Dany_Ca$h, who was actually looking for a band. The choice was quick and spontaneous: Dany became the new member of the band! Now, with finally a complete line up, Rick finds a name for the project: Thanx the Killer; after that here there are the first productions...!

Il progetto Thanx the killer nasce o meglio rinasce dalle fondamenta della vecchia band del liceo di 5 anni fa composta da Matte Mammi Rick e Ruo. I buoni vecchi Titoli di coda, o Clouds Over the Crowd... L'intento era quello di ricominciare a suonare, per gli altri e per noi soprattutto, l'input iniziale è stato dato da Ame the "Ray Emo" alcuni mesi fa (luglio 2006) il quale confidando nella riuscita del progetto ebbe l'idea di provare senza troppi problemi qualcosa in sala prove. Fu così che convinse il suo amico Ricky (o meglio sfiga.. :) ), chitarrista ormai avviato, il quale a sua volta convinse il buon Matte..(o meglio sfiga../ chitarrista anch'esso) a provare a togliere la ruggine dai vecchi strumenti. Così si trovarono un giorno in sala prove dove capitò, senza preavviso, anche Mammo (batterista degli snuffers e del vecchio gruppo) il quale tolse le bacchette di mano ad Ame prendendo ufficialmente il posto di batterista e spostandolo al microfono. Ora la line-up si sarebbe completata solo trovando un bassista! Dopo settimane di ricerca la band, una sera al pub, incontrò l’ormai datato amico Dany_Ca$h che si disse in cerca di una band. La scelta fu spontanea e rapida…Dany doveva essere il bassista della band! Ora, a line-up ormai completa, Ricky trova un nome che gli sembra calzi perfettamente con il quintetto! Ed ecco, dopo poco arrivare le prime proprie produzioni...!
