Blowjangles are an all-brass-and-percussion combo based in Blackburn. We are an open access non-racist non-sexist community band, and in true Rock n Roll tradition, almost anyone who has an inkling to play can join, our numbers can vary from six to twenty, but generally we have about twelve to sixteen most gigs (see pics). We do our own arrangememnts of classics: from Peanut Vendor to Step On by the Happy Mondays.

We gig all over the Northwest - our green and purple suits have been seen everywhere...from Darwen Music Festival, to busking on Blackpool prom during the lights, to doing a gig for the Archbishop of York at Whalley Abbey... holy or what??
