In the couple of years that she did the rounds of Iloilo entertainment (which really isn't much in those days, really), she did develop some following outside her usual circle of friends and admirers.But the cream (which also best describes her complexion) will always rise to the top. The young singing sensation from Iloilo became one of the most sought after performers in Manila's entertainment circuit.In the more than ten years since Charmaine left Iloilo, her musical wings had taken flight bringing her not only into the elite clubs of Metro Manila but also to fabled shores abroad.
