I volunteer with a local Cat Rescue Group as a bottle baby foster this means I have many cute and cuddly kittens in my life at all times. It's difficult at times but so rewarding when you can get a little one to pull through. My current position in It's All About The Cats, Inc. is Fundraising Coordinator. I am actively seeking any and all volunteers to assist in fundraising and other administrative duties within our group. I'm looking for creative people to make items for sales, task oriented people to assist with managing key areas with in the organization, public relations people to assist in getting all forms of PR, writers to assist with writing newsletters, stories, etc. Please send me a message if you'd like to help. Thank you
Little Booger's story
Little Booger was rescued in 2005. When he first came to our Foster Home, he had a bad URI and severe conjunctivitus. His right eye was sealed shut because of the conjunctivitus infection. The foster mom used every method possible to gently open the sealed eye, but the eye was too bad to be opened without veterinary assistance. Booger was taken to a veterinary specialist and with their help the eye was reopened fortunately before any vision damage occured.
Little Booger was adopted and renamed DaVinci and is living a life of luxury now with his new family.
The costs involved with Booger's eye treatment far exceeded our adoption fee of $75.00. The eye repair alone cost in excess of $200.00. On top of this expense, include spaying, vaccines, rabies shot, deworming, antibiotics and the total cost to prepare Booger for adoption was well over $300.00.
Without fundraising we can not continue to help kitties like Booger.
Please help us to help them
