Poppa's Kitchen

About Me

Poppa's Kitchen evolved slowly over a number of years. We started experimentally, we used crickets as our click track. Bob would turn the bass upside down and Steve would try to play notes without looking at his fingers. It was wild. But one night, the ghost of tin pan alley came knocking. He wanted songs. So we started writing about big mouths, free men and other subjects worth singing about. You can check out our groove 24/7 via I Tunes or cdbaby.com Maybe late one night you'll be driving down a dark and lonely road. Maybe you'll think you've lost your way, maybe you'll think about turning back. Maybe you'll hear Poppa's Kitchen on your radio. Maybe it'll all work out.
