I was born far away, move around alot as a kid, joined the army for 7 years and ended up in Texas. I got married, got divorced and am now in a wonderful relationship.
I can be very pretentious and can be a little narcissistic at times. I used to be a pretty relaxed person, but my patience is starting to wane with all the silliness I see around me daily. I Don't care for overly dramatic people or people who feel they need to be the center of the universe. I'm usually picky with who I socialize with and tend to gravitate towards people that have their shit together.
I don't like flakes, fakes, yes people, name droppers, scenesters, most children, or pseudo-intellectual elitists. No one knows everything and if you arent willing to learn or listen, I wont like you.
I like to have fun as much as the next person, but the club thing and the current state of the different scenes just makes me mad. It all seems so trivial and boring now. I do go out now and again when something peaks my intrest, will try to attend shows and events when I can, but the people have changed and it's just doesnt feel as fun as it once was.
I love to cook and love having dinner parties to show off my talents. Its fun and relaxing usually.
I Like playing video games, no matter how old I get, I think I will never outgrow them. I love having movie nights with the my girlfriend or a few close friends.
Shopping, yes I like to shop, I earned it, Ill spend it. Some people seem to take issue with that around here, but my ass has plenty of room for them to kiss.
A few other interests are working with leather, reading, discussing political issues with opened minded people, and having drinks at a bar with friends all complaining about how "things aren't like they used to be".
