The road goes on forever and the party never ends...

About Me

These are things I like, in no order whatsoever: the turbo whine at 5800 rpm on an WRX STI, Doonesbury, Ducati motorcycles, esp. the Multistrada, early-1970's National Lampoon, Peanuts (The Comic Strip), Cribbage, watching a lot of footie ball, college hoops, things that go bump in the night, books about Vietnam, drinking port, throwing the elbow, talking trash, cookin' (up a storm), post-structuralism, fast cars, rally racing, carbon fiber, sharp knives, purple (as a color and to wear), clean draws, a well-fitting suit, Mike and Ikes, cookies and pies, obtuse conversations, pleading the fifth, Cmajor7th, Oral-B Brush Ups, custom-made clothing, dancing to hip-hop with hot Afrikaans girls at the Mystic Boar in Stellenbosch, South Africa, watching the sun come up (poolside), bottle after bottle of champagne, driving the lane, pushing them buttons, dropping into sixth, power sliding (yo!) and, finally, long walks off of very short piers.I am what the famous French philosophers, Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari refer to as "Tight", epistemologically speaking that is.In the last year and a half alone, I've been to South Africa, Sol Island, North Carolina, Florida, Illinois, Michigan, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, New York, Montreal and Vancouver, Canada, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Munich and Berlin, Germany, the South of France, Verona, Florence and Bologna, Italy, Valencia, Spain, Belize, Geneva and Shanghai, China.I have a lot of frequent flyer miles. I mean a lot. Who wants to go somewhere with me?Here are some of my photos: http://www.flickr.com/photos/theguz/
